California Customs -
San Jose, CA
Joe Cree of California Customs
builds some serious Hot Rod motorcycles. 26 base models to choose from, without
a doubt the most in the industry. All hand assembled by serious craftsmen. Once
you finally navigate your way to see the motorcycles you can see why Joe is a true
innovator in the custom motorcycle world. These motorcycles are nice
and affordable. Joe will meet or beat any other licensed builder on price
using the same quality parts. And Joe is a patriot. We like that!

Scott Long has taken the "Old-School Builder of
the Year" award from the V-twin Bikers Ball and there's little doubt why. When
he's not rebuilding old Harleys he's building new custom old school style
choppers on his own frames. Scott's custom motorcycles builds all have that
authentic Old School look.

Website
Cherry Customs -
Kelowna, British Columbia
Nice complete custom builds
and customized Harley Davidsons. No single style stands out as all custom
motorcycles on site look very well done. And I saw at least one Redneck
frame, and that always kind of sells me on a builder. The modified Harleys
were very well done.

Website
Chica Custom Cycles -
For those of you not familiar with
Chica, he hails from Japan. Chica is a very detailed oriented builder whose been
featured on the Discovery channel numerous times. His style is cool and
practical. I'd hate to pigeon hole him with tags like Bobber or Racer, but most
motorcycles bring those terms to mind. You will not go unnoticed, however, if you turn
up at your local motorcycle night with one of Chicas bare bones motorcycles. If fact you may
become the center of attention. Be prepared.
Website
Choppers Inc -
"Biker Build Off" contestant Billy Lane has
been around long before the Discovery channel made him a household name and
one look at his builds and it's easy to see why the hardcore builder is
considered royalty in the motorcycle building world.
Website
Chop Shop Customs -
Fort Lauderdale, FL
The Chop Shop specializes in Old School
Bobbers. They even have a production line of them. Voted "Nicest Production
Bobbers" by Easyriders magazine. And these guys can do a lot more than
just Bobbers. Visit their web site to see pics of customers motorcycles they've
customized.

Website
Class Act Customs -
Mesa, Arizona.
The logo is 'Street Rods On Two
Wheels". Award winning motorcycles at some top shows. The motorcycles are long and low and
raked to the max. Founded in 2002 by Scott Irvine.

Washington Court House, OH
Man these boys build some chops.
Owned by Jason Stritenberger and D.J. Jenkins they started in a garage in 2004
and move into a fulltime business in 2006 during the height of the Custom
Motorcycle fad. Very original design work and thought out color schemes. I am
seriously impressed with these motorcycles. They know when to flash it up and also
when "less is more". I would expect some big things from this crew as they
mature as builders. They also have their own line of parts.

Website
County Line Choppers -
Pat Briggs has been working on
motorcycles
since he was 12 yrs old and it shows in his work. Even with the tiny pics on my
high resolution screen, the choppers here look pretty darn good. Motorcycles are
highly detailed, well worth the effort it takes to look at them. Be warned: if
you don't have at least a DSL line you're not going to be able to get the
overdone flash on this website.
Website
Covington's Customs -
With a full line of production
motorcycles plus many
one off customs, the Covingtons have been busy. Probably best known for Pro
Street style motorcycles, the production line is actually more Bobber styled
than anything else. Full line of parts available also.
Website
Creative Cycles -
Doug Keim is one of those builders
that everyone should know about but outside of the industry some remains
relatively unknown. When I think of all the builders mad famous by the
Discovery channel who seem to have become bigger than life and then look at
Doug's motorcycles I have to scratch my head. Unlike most of the Custom "Gods" that
seem to build the same motorcycle over and over again, Doug isn't a one trick pony.
You can actually see the incredible progressive nature of his builds as each
one becomes even more creative than the one before.
